Most organizations cannot answer a simple question about the applications they run: who owns this? Not who administers it or who pays for it. Who is accountable for it. When no one can answer, access accumulates, former employees keep their permissions, audits fail, and licenses renew for tools no one has evaluated in years. The same gap now applies to service accounts and AI agents, which keep acting on company data with no human behind them.
This course teaches Ownership-Driven Security (ODS): a governance approach that treats ownership as a security control, not a field in an inventory. In about 50 minutes, you will learn how to define ownership, keep it current as people join, move, and leave, spot the five ownership risks in your own estate, automate assignment and reassignment, and measure the program with health scores, risk scores, and KPIs.
The course has five modules, a knowledge check after each, and a 10-question final assessment. Score 70 percent or higher and you earn the CODSP certification.
Who it is for: IT, security, and IAM teams, application owners, compliance and audit teams, procurement, enterprise architects, and AI governance teams. If you touch the lifecycle of an enterprise application, or deploy agents that use one, this course was built for you.
Format: Self-paced video, intermediate level, about 50 minutes, free.
